"Rendezvous in Old Hong Kong" Wai Wai Solo Exhibition showcases the illustration works from Wai Wai's second personal art collection, "Rendezvous in Old Hong Kong: A Visual Journey through the City’s Historic Neighbourhoods", which conveys the artist's profound connection to this city, as well as her evolving relationship with Hong Kong.
Seven years ago, Wai Wai created her first solo album, "Love Letter to Yau Ma Tei", as a means of grappling with the bittersweet experiences of leaving her childhood home of Yau Ma Tei. However, despite her initial intentions to depart, she has remained in Hong Kong, continuing to navigate the various social, personal and professional changes that have shaped her life over the past seven years.
Through a series of captivating illustrations, Wai Wai shares her nuanced perceptions of the city she calls home. Exploring the much-beloved districts of Yau Ma Tei, Happy Valley and Tsuen Wan, the artist invites viewers to discover the allure and complexity of Hong Kong, whether as a long-term resident or a present-day explorer, and to uncover the remarkable cultural elements within these vibrant communities.

「香港・約會地圖」展出慧惠第二本個人畫集《香港人的浪漫老區約會地圖》中的插圖作品，展現藝術家與這個城市的深厚聯繫，以及與香港之間日益變化的關係。
七年前，慧惠創作了第一本個人畫集《給油麻地的情書》，作為應對離開成長地油麻地的苦樂交織的方式。然而，儘管最初有離開的打算，她仍然留在香港，繼續應對在過去七年中塑造她生活的各種社會、個人和職業變化。
通過一系列精彩的插圖作品，慧惠分享了對於這個她稱之為家的城市的細膩感知。探索深受喜愛的油麻地、跑馬地和荃灣，藝術家邀請參觀者探索香港的魅力與複雜性，無論是作為一個長期居民還是當下的探險者，都能在這些充滿活力的社區中發現令人驚艷的文化元素。
